5 Themes of Geography Research Project - Globe-Man Activity | PBL

This Five Themes of Geography project challenges students to research a city and showcase its Location, Place, Region, Movement, and Human-Environment Interactions by creating a Globe-Man. First, students investigate each theme, then they design Globe-Man posters or presentations that illustrate the city’s unique geography. This Project-Based Learning activity can support a five themes of geography lesson, unit, or intro and can be adapted for any location worldwide.

The lesson begins with a quick review of the themes. Then, the slides lead the class through a detailed explanation of the project. A rubric sets clear expectations, making grading easy! Everything you need is included!
