This Face-off Types of Government project challenges students to compare how people's lives can be impacted by living in limited versus unlimited government systems. First, students will imagine what individuals in each society might say, think, hear, see, and value. This will help illuminate the differences in citizens' experiences and worldviews.

Next, students will create a “Face-Off” between two citizens: one living under a limited government and the other under an unlimited government. A guided Slides presentation helps set clear expectations, and a fill-in rubric makes grading straightforward.

This project-based learning approach is a fun way to assess students’ understanding while allowing them to showcase their creativity. The materials include both printed and interactive digital versions, making it suitable for traditional in-class learning or digital 1:1 classrooms. Everything needed for the project is included!
