African Souvenir PBL - Five Regions of Africa Research Project - Print & Digital

This fun research project challenges students to showcase the cultural and geographical features of each of Africa’s five regions: Northern, Western, Central, Eastern, and Southern. The Project-Based Learning (PBL) activity is engaging for students, and the guided format is easy for you to use! Everything you need is included!

 

First, a research guide encourages your class to identify and explain various geographical and cultural features of each African region. Then, students create unique souvenirs to represent each region based on their research. They write descriptions to explain each souvenir’s connection to African culture or geography. Finally, they decorate bedroom templates to exhibit their African souvenirs. A fill-in rubric sets clear expectations and makes grading easy! “My Souvenirs of Africa” projects are always creative, thoughtful, and look fantastic when displayed!
