What is ISIS? Reading Comp Activity - Terrorism in Middle East - Print & Digital
This close reading activity explores the growth of ISIS, the group's basic beliefs, and conflict in Southwest Asia and North Africa, known as the Middle East region. Students read an article, “What is ISIS?”, then answer questions focused on the main ideas. Students read an article titled "What is ISIS?" and answer questions that focus on the main ideas presented in the text. Two versions of the activity are provided to easily differentiate learning in your classroom. The article highlights the period when ISIS was at the height of its power, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the historical context. Everything you need is included!
